Utilising improvised guitar, keyboard and 6ft metal bows, the 9 tracks on Jacques' Dream were recorded in 2018 as part of a process of writing the soundtrack to a film by Montreal artist Alexandre Larose, entitled 'St Bathans repetitions 1/2/16 - 21/3/16.

Often tense, surreal and varying between styles, most of the tracks on Jacques Dream were deemed too expressive or 'song like' for the film, while other tracks like 'Seam' were hatched after watching Kenneth Anger's 'Invocation of my demon brother'; not ideal preparation for soundtracking a structuralist film set in a hut, perhaps.
